|Recipe Name:||German-Style Brats|
|From the Kitchen of:||Margo Kellogg|
|Ingredients:||1 Package of Bratwurst or Smoked Sausage.|
1 package Kraut-drained
1 can of cushed pineappple or a thin sliced apple (either works well)
1 T. brown sugar
|Directions:||Mix kruat with pineapple & brown sugar |
Layer with brats in slow cooker or roast pan.
Slow cook for about 4-6 hours.
Pan roast in 250-300 oven for a couple of hours.
The idea is to cook slow over a longer period of time so flavors have
a chance to really merge.
