Koegel's Recipes

Recipe Name:Baked Ring Bologna and Sauerkraut
From the Kitchen of:C.K. Haarz
Ingredients:1 Koegel ring bologna (1lb. or more cut into 4 pieces)
1 bag of sauerkraut (32 oz. do not drain)
1/2 cup chopped onions
2 Tbsp butter
1/2 tsp celery seed
1/2 tsp caraway seed
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Directions:In a skilllet, saute onions, celery seed, caraway seed, salt and pepper. Put half of the mixture in a casserolke dish (3 qt. size). Add ring bologna on top, add remaining sauerkraut mixture over ring bologna, sprinkle with paprika. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Let rest for 5 minutes and enjoy.
